German security software for mobile devices continues its successful series
A security solution has long been part of the standard equipment of a smartphone or tablet, because last year G DATA analysts counted a total of more than 4.1 million new malicious apps for Android. The two independent test institutes AV-TEST and AV-Comparatives therefore tested which security app users can rely on. The result is clear: Both test institutes certify that G DATA Internet Security Android detects 100 percent malware and reward the security solution "Made in Germany" with the highest mark.

In January 2019, the renowned test institute tested a total of 250 Android security solutions found in Google Play. More than 2,000 test pests were used by AV-Comparatives under real conditions.

In January 2019 AV-TEST tested a total of 18 security apps for Android, including the G DATA Internet Security Android. All solutions had to prove their protective function using all functions in realistic test scenarios. The latest version was tested in each case.
The result: G DATA Internet Security Android detected all of more than 5,500 malware and did not generate a false alarm. Thus the security solution "Made in Germany" continued its AV-TEST success series with best results.
