This article describes how to log in to the G DATA Administrator after updating to 14.2.0.472.
Cause:
This can occur due to the G DATA Administrator being open during the installation of the update.
Another cause can be unexpected database entries during the conversion of the database.
Solution:
Step 1: Restart the computer with the G DATA ManagementServer.
Step 2: Replace the registry entry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Gdmms\ImagePatch" with "C:\Program Files (x86)\G Data\G DATA AntiVirus ManagementServer\GData.Business.Server.App.exe".
Now start the service "G DATA ManagementServer".
