Question:

When I access emails an error message appears: OutbreakShield was unable to scan an email. Please check your Internet connection and settings.

Response:

Provided you can rule out connection problems, etc., this error can occur if: a) “Scan incoming mails (POP3)” is not enabled under Options -> Email protection or b) The POP3 port entered under Options -> Email protection is not the port used for accessing emails.
