G Data InternetSecurity 2012: ‘one of the best defenders we’ve ever seen’ according to PC Advisor
PC Advisor, the world’s number one technology magazine for the UK, has named G Data InternetSecurity 2012 its ‘top pick’ in its 2012 roundup of security suites. According to PC Advisor, G Data received ‘the best score we’ve ever seen on this particular test’.
G Data stopped all threats of the ‘real-world test’, which entailed all new and unknown threats. G Data also impressed in the detection test of known malware: 99.995% of the malicious samples were blocked. According to the testers, this was the best result any security product has achieved in the history of the PC Advisor tests. G Data’s precision does not only apply to malicious files. It is also extremely accurate with benign code: 99.9996% of the harmless samples were classified as harmless by G Data. This means the risk of false positives is almost non-existent.
