“Up until now, we have not yet seen any volcano mails that are actually harmful to the computer. However, this is probably just a matter of time. We therefore advice everyone to discard unwanted e-mails from unknown senders without opening them. If you have opened a spam message by mistake, you should make sure not to click on any links. That way you prevent falling victim to a drive-by-download attack.” Explains Ralf Benzmüller, head of G Data’s SecurityLab.
