AV-Comparatives awards seal of approval to 'Made in Germany' security

On average a new computer malware program appears every two seconds (source: G Data Security Labs). Therefore an effective security solution is a must for every Internet user. But which security software really protects PCs against online threats? This was the subject of the latest comparison test by renowned test laboratory AV-Comparatives, where 20 virus protection solutions were put to the test. The testers in Innsbruck came to a clear conclusion: Internet users are best protected against malware of every kind by G Data AntiVirus 2012. With an impressive detection rate of 99.7 percent, G Data achieved the best result in the test and received the prestigious 'Advanced +' certification from AV-Comparatives. Previously the German provider had already impressed in the Stiftung Warentest comparison test (04/2012) – G Data was given the best virus protection award here as well.

In AV-Comparatives' opinion, the malware detection rate is one of the most important criteria for determining the reliability and efficiency of an antivirus solution. G Data AntiVirus 2012 demonstrated the best detection rate in the test overall and so provided impressive proof, yet again, of the high quality of 'Made in Germany' security technologies.
