CeBIT 2009: Security experts explain it all

G Data Arena in hall 11, once again the epicentre of IT-security

Bochum, 17. February 2009

The probability of becoming a victim of a malware attack or data abuse has never been as high as today. However only a few users know where the offenders have set their traps and are aware of their ingenious scams. For G Data, the German virus protection pioneer, an invitation to comprehensively inform CeBIT visitors about eCrime. On the daily changing agenda, are subjects such as live hacking, Internet rip-offs and big business online crime. A particularly attractive incentive awaits the visitor to the G Data Arena daily at 4 pm: In one-hour talk shows, safety, media and legal experts will be discussing the latest topics such as security software tests, the danger for children on the internet, data protection and eCrime hunters. Amongst the guests to the top-level panel discussions are Dr Alexander Dix, data protection officer for Berlin, Andreas Marx from the famous testing laboratory AV-Test, Dr Bernhard Rohleder, Chief Executive of the BITKOM industrial association, Klaus Jansen from the German Police Union and Ralf Benzmüller, manager of G Data Security Labs. The G Data arena is located in hall 11, stand D35.

Once again responsible for presenting the large G Data Arena talk shows this year are Wolfgang Back and Wolfgang Rudolph from the ComputerClub 2. The experienced TV presentation team are already looking forward to CeBIT 2009 – and reporting daily from the dazzling ComputerClub2 studio in the G Data arena about novelties and trends in the IT sector.
